Applications. The S500 is large capacity System Payment Terminal that can perform all payment transactions in a variety of self-service environments such as libraries, container parks, hospitals, parkings, ….. Being specialised in the payment aspects, Antenor develops these system automats typically on request of or in partnership with the main players in the corresponding domains.
Modular Payment Options The Antenor S500 System Payment Terminal can accept payment with banknotes and/or coins. The system can give change money using recycled coins. S500 can also be equipped for payment with public debit or credit cards such as Bancontact-Mister Cash, Proton, Maestro, Visa, Mastercard. The S500 has passed the complete Banksys certification procedure for XENTEO in Belgium. The simplified homologation procedure The simplified homologation procedure for the Payment Terminal implies an important reduction of the time-to-market and the cost-to-develop.
Robust and Reliable The S500 is extremely strongly built to resist attacks and vandalism. Built as a safe, the cabinet is made of 4mm steel. The door is over 7mm thick including a brushed stainless steel front plate; it has hidden hinges and a safe lock mechanism with 4 strong bolts. The automat weights over 100 kg and is additionally fixed to the wall. All these measures contribute to a very safe and vandal resistant automat. The S500 is built based on the proven Antenor CPU-A controller and extensions. All payment modules and accessories have been carefully selected by Antenor to assure the most reliable operation throughout its long life cycle.
Optional Integration of third Party Accessories When the application requires so, accessories such as badge reader, barcode scanner, computer or TFT can be professionally integrated in the cabinet.
Straigh forward System Integration. The integration of the S-series of system payment terminals is done using a RS232 com-port between the host computer and the Antenor payment controller. A simplified Antenor Payment Protocol (VABP) is used to initiate a debit request or even to deliver products (tokens or cards). Every message is replied in such a way that the host computer can follow the status of the transaction which may be valuable to provide the customer the correct feed back.
